In nearly twenty years at P&G, McCleary has played a key role in helping the world’s largest consumer products company evolve its brand marketing model towards a larger focus on influencer-focused work, including publicity, cause marketing, partnerships, endorsements, and other activities that enhance the credibility and relevance of P&G brands in the hearts and minds of consumers. McCleary has led or overseen award winning public relations campaigns for some of P&G’s largest and most iconic brands. He has also been critical in building the communications function at P&G earning numerous awards for capability building. He has trained P&G marketers and communicators around the world.
Before joining P&G, McCleary served for five years as press secretary to U.S. Senator John Glenn.
