In her twelve years at Susan G. Komen, Carrie has played a major role in the development and management of hundreds of cause marketing initiatives with many of the world’s most admired companies. In her current role, she serves as a strategic advisor in the management of Komen’s portfolio of corporate partners and sponsors, cultivates relationships with major donors and builds new revenue channels for the organization via new business and board fundraising. Carrie’s passion for the cause is deeply personal, having lost a loved one to breast cancer in 2014 and counting many survivors as dear friends and colleagues.
Prior to joining Komen, Carrie led the Charlotte, NC chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and served on former Charlotte Mayor Richard Vinroot’s gubernatorial campaign staff. A graduate of James Madison University, Carrie lives in Dallas, TX and enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and watching the Cowboys!
