Corey is Chief Development & Stewardship Officer for the American Diabetes Association, the nation’s leading voluntary health organization fighting to Stop Diabetes®.
Corey is responsible for Bequests and Planned Giving, Corporate Alliances, Direct Response, Field Development & Operations, Grants (Foundations & Government), Major Gifts, Sports & Entertainment and Volunteer Engagement.
A marketing and fundraising veteran with more than 25 years of experience building and growing organizations, Corey has held executive roles in both the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors, having had a successful career in banking before shifting to the nonprofit realm.
Prior to joining the American Diabetes Association, Corey was the Chief Marketing Officer for Feed the Children, where he was responsible for $400 million in fundraising revenue and led a highly successful, comprehensive organizational re-branding effort. His leadership paved the way for new programs, revamping of existing programs, and new directions in marketing, fundraising and communications.
An orphan who was abandoned at birth, Corey has a strong passion to advocate for orphans and vulnerable children and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Christian Alliance for Orphans.
