Janet Domingo Fletcher is the marketing leader for Procter & Gamble’s Global Olympics program for the London 2012 Summer Games. Within her current role, she also has the unique opportunity to design purpose-inspired initiatives with several key external partners including Special Olympics, Communities in Schools (GIVE Education), the National Breast Cancer Foundation (GIVE Hope), and Feeding America (GIVE Health).
Fletcher has been with Procter & Gamble for 24 years beginning her career in Manufacturing at the Oxnard Tissue/Towel Plant in California. Over the next decade, Fletcher held various operations roles and acquired global experience with P&G’s Prestige and Skin Care Product Supply organizations, before moving into Marketing in 2000. In her Marketing career, Fletcher has worked on top P&G Beauty brands including Pantene, Olay, Secret, and multi-brand/category initiatives. Most recently, Fletcher led the successful P&G Team USA Olympics program during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. She worked with Wieden+Kennedy to create the heartwarming P&G “Thank You Mom” Proud Sponsor of Mom campaign for the Olympics, Paralympics, and Special Olympics programs. Her guiding principle for leadership is “Nurture and grow those in your care,” and her limitless passion and creativity is fostered by the idea that you need to “Be the change you wish to see in the world” (Gandhi).
Fletcher graduated from UCLA in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband, Matt, their three children (Sara, Michael, and Ryan), and is an avid runner.
