Emily Schemper is a strategist and marketing practice lead for Social Capital, working with top national and global causes and foundations.
Prior to Social Capital, Schemper was a Senior Research Analyst at the Walt Disney Company where she analyzed media consumption trends for ESPN Marketing and Sales. Her findings have been featured in USA TODAY, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and FiveThirtyEight.
Prior to ESPN, Schemper worked in marketing and communications for several organizations including USAID, Save the Children, and The Paley Center for Media. She is a published author in American Politics Research and edited the book “Partners or Rivals?” which won the APSA’s 2016 Best Book Award for Inter-Race Relations in the United States.
Schemper received her B.A. in Politics and International Affairs as well as Religion from Wake Forest University. She is based in Chicago, Illinois.
