Strategist

Kim Pucci is a fundraising marketing professional who has worked in the nonprofit industry for the last 12 years. Pucci brings a unique perspective to nonprofit partnership development having sat on both sides of the negotiation table—first as a corporate partner and then as a nonprofit fundraising professional. Most recently, Pucci was marketing director for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, where she played a key role in the organization’s launch of the award-winning whatever it takes to save a child brand positioning and call-to-action campaign, Believe in Zero. In addition, Pucci developed fundraising programs and awareness campaigns with major media partners including CNN andHGTV. She also directed the launch of the internationally recognized clean water initiative, the Tap Project, which included the development of a major volunteer initiative with Turner Broadcasting.

Prior to her work with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Kim was marketing director for Turner Network Television (TNT). One of her major accomplishments there was developing the network’s first cause partnership, in which she designed a turn-key promotion for cable affiliates that helped drive awareness, visibility and revenue for the nonprofit. The partnership earned recognition from the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing for excellence in community affairs trade promotions. Pucci also developed marketing promotions and sponsorships for major advertiser partners in conjunction with TNT movies, series and special events.

Throughout her 17-year career in marketing, Pucci has made it her primary goal to work on business-building strategies for the organizations she serves. At Social Capital, Pucci’s primary focus is on supporting nonprofit clients in the development of fundraising concepts and activation strategies from a brand and marketing perspective to maximize revenue and membership.

Pucci earned her B.S. in public communications from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She is based in Danbury, Connecticut.
