Simon Williams

Simon Williams is a fundraising marketing professional who possesses a unique combination of creative design talent with nonprofit fundraising and marketing experience. Williams leads Social Capital’s creative services working closely with clients to develop campaign creative, sales and fundraising materials from cause marketing umbrella creative, microsite creative design to presentations, proposals, partnership toolkits and stewardship reports. Williams' clients have included 4-H, American Red Cross, Feeding America, Habitat for Humanity International, National Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Association, PetSmart Charities, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Share Our Strength, Special Olympics International, UN Foundation, United Way Worldwide, and WWF. Williams is the creative lead on all seven-figure winning partnership proposals.
Before coming to Social Capital, Williams was a marketing manager at The Nature Conservancy. There, he developed and implemented strategies and content for gift planning marketing and donor stewardship initiatives. In addition to supporting key fundraising targets, Williams supported the development of the organization’s annual report, conservation campaign and fundraising trainings for staff. Prior to The Nature Conservancy, Williams worked for the National Geographic Society.
Williams earned his B.A. in American Studies at the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom during which time he also studied on scholarship to the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is based in Washington, D.C.
