SR. STRATEGIST, GRANT MANAGEMENT
Snowbird, mother and grandmother, walker, crime/legal genre enthusiast, dabbler in various crafts
Bronson’s career has spanned nearly 40 years, with a focus on both consulting and nonprofit work. Her specialty is creating, expanding and strengthening grantmaking programs to maximize both impact and efficiencies.
Since joining Social Capital, Bronson has served as a specialist with Social Capital’s national and global federated causes, helping build and scale grantmaking programs to maximize revenue, impact and network-wide market share.
Prior to joining Social Capital, Bronson led Feeding America’s Member Grants team for 14 years, during which she grew the grants program from approximately $20 million per year to more than $300 million per year during COVID. This expansion relied on close partnership and collaboration with colleagues, multiple supporting system upgrades and the “reimagination” of business processes to better fit both the evolving external environment and Feeding America’s internal grant strategy. During her tenure, Anne oversaw a small but mighty team of four to six staff members and the successful granting of over $1.5 billion.
Bronson spent the first decade of her career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), providing business process and systems consulting to both large and small clients in various industries. Her career then shifted to the nonprofit space when she established and became Executive Director of the Accenture Foundation for the next 15 years. In this role, she managed the Foundation’s day-to-day activities and worked with the Board of Directors to identify and fund both domestic and international nonprofits during both “blue sky” times and moments of disaster. Notable grants included multiyear support for a state-of-the-art eLearning program in Kenya to upscale nursing skills and robust responses to both 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina domestic disasters.
Bronson graduated from Purdue University (Boiler Up!), where she majored in industrial management, with a computer science minor.
