Paula Berezin, a recognized leader in social impact, has an unparalleled track record of growing sustainable revenue through multifaceted partnerships, cause marketing and integrated fundraising and marketing campaigns.

Since founding Social Capital in 2001, Berezin has served as chief strategist to leading nonprofits and foundations, including the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Best Friends Animal Society, CARE USA, Disabled American Veterans, Feeding America, Girls Scouts of the USA, Goodwill Industries International, LA84 Foundation, March of Dimes, McCormick Foundation, Mercy Corps, National Park Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Rotary International, Special Olympics International, Susan G. Komen, UNICEF USA, United Nations Foundation, USO, United Way Worldwide, World Wildlife Fund and YMCA of the USA.

Prior to forming Social Capital, Berezin established and served as president of IEG Consulting. She also served as executive director of two national nonprofit Olympic governing bodies: The United States Rowing Association and United States Synchronized Swimming Association. 

Berezin began her career at PepsiCo in sports marketing. She also has served on many nonprofit boards of trustees, including the Women’s Sports Foundation and FISA, the international Olympic rowing federation.

Berezin earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
