Senior Writer, Philanthropic Communications

Gabrielle Antoniadis, editorial director of Social Capital, is an expert in philanthropic communications whose writing has helped nonprofits raise multi-year, multi-million-dollar gifts. Since joining Social Capital, Antoniadis has led philanthropic communications for Social Capital clients including Best Friends Animal Society, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Feeding America, American Heart Association, World Wildlife Fund, National 4-H Council, Planned Parenthood, CARE, USO, UNICEF USA, Susan G. Komen, American Diabetes Association, National Park Foundation, Easterseals, National Safety Council, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, YMCA of the USA, and Land Trust Alliance.

Prior to joining Social Capital, Antoniadis was a consultant providing writing and communications support to national environmental organizations, including The Nature Conservancy and World Wildlife Fund, as well as educational institutions and other top nonprofits. Prior to that, she was communications director and development writer for The Nature Conservancy in Eastern New York, where she oversaw the creation of key marketing, communications and donor cultivation materials; developed web copy; organized donor cultivation events; and served as chief media contact for the 20-county region. She also managed foundation, corporate and individual prospect research and wrote funding proposals and donor reports.

Antoniadis earned a BA in French language/literature and psychology at Connecticut College.  She is based in Niantic, Connecticut.
